This first week is about arriving just as you are and gently orienting to mindfulness practice. There is nothing to achieve and nothing to fix. We begin by noticing what is already here.

This course unfolds week by week. You are invited to move at your own pace and to meet each practice with kindness.

This Week’s Intention

The intention this week is simply to arrive.

Arriving means noticing your body, your breath, and your present-moment experience without needing it to be different. Mindfulness is not about clearing the mind or feeling calm. It is about being aware, with friendliness, of whatever is here.


Block 6 — Heading (H2)

Guided Practice — Awareness of Breathing


Block 7 — Paragraph

This short practice introduces mindfulness through awareness of breathing. You are invited to sit or lie down in a way that feels supportive.

If your mind wanders, that is completely natural. Each time you notice, you are already practicing mindfulness.

Reflection

After practicing, you might gently reflect:

  • What did I notice about arriving and settling?
  • How did my body feel during the practice?
  • What did I notice about my mind?

There is no need to analyze or judge your experience. Simply noticing is enough.

Daily Life Practice


Block 12 — Paragraph

Throughout the week, you might practice “arriving” in simple moments, such as:

  • Pausing for one or two breaths before starting something new
  • Noticing your feet on the ground while standing or walking
  • Taking a brief moment to notice sensations while washing your hands

These small moments of awareness are meaningful.

There is no right or wrong way to begin this course. Showing up, even briefly, is already enough.
